    1. Welcome the Ingredients:
Drain your soaked cashews and add them to a blender with all the remaining ingredients.
🌾Mindful Moment: Pause to inhale the fresh citrus, the herbaceous basil. Let each scent land fully before adding.
💬 Kid Prompt: “What feeling does this smell like to you?”
    2. Blend with Love:
Blend until creamy and completely smooth, scraping down the sides as needed.
🌾Mindful Moment: Watch the mixture swirl and change — from grainy to glossy. Let your eyes follow the motion. Take it slow.
💬 Kid Prompt: “Notice how the textures and colors blend — what does it remind you of?”
    3. Taste & Adjust:
Give it a taste. Does it need more sweetness, lemon, or basil? Adjust to your liking.
🌾Mindful Moment: Pause to taste with intention. Close your eyes if it helps. What flavor notes do you catch first?
💬 Prompt: “If this cream had a mood, what would it be: mellow, bright, curious?”
    4. Pour and Chill:
Spoon the mixture into small jars or ramekins. Cover and refrigerate for 3–4 hours until set.
🌾Mindful Moment: As you spoon the mixture into jars, feel the shift toward stillness. A quiet waiting. Let this be a soft pause in the day.
    5. Serve Slowly:
Top with basil ribbons, extra lemon zest, or a crushed shortbread cookie. Enjoy chilled.
🌾 Mindful Moment: Before the first bite, pause as a group. Smell the basil. Notice the color, the coolness, the toppings.
💬 Prompt: “Can we each take one mindful bite together?”
💬 Kid Prompt: “What story do you think this dessert would tell if it could talk?”

    • Try swapping basil for lavender or mint for seasonal shifts.
    • Make it a parfait: layer cream with crushed cookies or berries for a textured treat.
    • Blend with ice and extra lemon juice for a frosty lemon-basil shake.
